SEED Winnipeg RESP Referral Program

Would you like to start saving for your child's post-secondary education, but you're living on a low income? A Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) can help you save with a practical and achievable plan of action. Learn more about RESPs and how to make the most of your income through SEED Winnipeg, who'll also provide you with hands-on support to open an RESP and apply for special benefits like the Canada Learning Bond and Canada Education Savings Grant.

Is your son or daughter a graduate of the Community Schools Investigators (CSI) summer enrichment program? If so, they may have earned a $400 bursary for every year completed. Talk to SEED and find out if your child qualifies, and how much money they might have earned.

Ready to start saving for your child's future?

  1. Confirm that she or he qualifies; contact SEED at 204.927.9945 or email
  2. Gather the ID that’s required to open an RESP; if you don't have ID, SEED can help you there too.
  3. SEED will coordinate with ACU on your behalf, and you can deposit your investment (no matter how big or small) into an RESP.
  4. Feel great knowing you're helping prepare your child for their post-secondary education.
